Our Story

Built for families who feel left behind

Therapy in the Outback was created to fill the gaps we saw. Rural towns with no local providers, or metro families stuck on waitlists or bounced between services. We believe everyone deserves access to quality, neuro-affirming support, no matter their postcode.

Support that actually fits

We’re not here to fix people. We’re here to understand them. Our supports are flexible, individualised, and designed around each person’s goals, not generic programs. We use evidence-based tools to reduce distress, build real-life skills, and honour each person’s voice, needs, autonomy, and identity.

A team that backs each other

We’re a collective of like-minded practitioners who care deeply about people, not KPIs. There’s no red tape, no ticking boxes just for the sake of it. We focus on what actually matters: delivering quality support, learning from each other, and creating space for meaningful work. Our team is backed, not micromanaged, because we trust good people to do great work when they’re supported to thrive.
